Quiche Restaurante Guatemalteco

Smack dab on the corner of 27th & O sits Quiche, a humble kitchen serving up some of the finest Guatemalan food.

Known for its vibrant food scene and mix of Mayan and Spanish influences, Quiche serves some familiar-looking dishes with some unexpected twists. Take the Shuco Mixto: it resembles a torta, but Guatemalans might refer to it as a hot dog. We’ll just say it’s the best sandwich you’ll ever order. It's chorizo, carne asada, and bacon on a toasted bun with guacamole, cabbage, mayo, mustard, and ketchup.

The meat is key here at Quiche. Its seasoning is perfection, the grill marks are beautiful, and the chicken skin is nice and crispy. We recommend visiting in a group so you can try more than one dish, or visiting multiple times to work your way down the menu.

Yep, it’s that good.
