Lincoln, NE – With the holiday season in full swing, Visit Lincoln is excited to launch a new Lincoln tradition for the holiday season—Window Wonderland.
Businesses across the city are carefully decorating their storefronts, with each window telling a unique story for their business, for the Lincoln community and more. This enchanting new tradition is perfect for family, friends and festive photo ops and represents an important time of year for local businesses as shopping local to find one-of-a-kind gifts is emphasized during the holiday season.
This initiative is a free venture that businesses across the community are encouraged to participate in, with sponsorship through Visit Lincoln, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Lincoln Association.
“This event is aimed at attracting residents and visitors to our stores, promoting our community and driving customers to local businesses as we celebrate the holidays with a new holiday tradition,” says Jeff Maul, Executive Director of Visit Lincoln.
In total, more than 30 businesses are participating in this inaugural version of Window Wonderland, which kicked off on November 29 and continues through the end of December. For more details on the program, visit www.lincoln.org/window-wonderland.
