Haymarket Park is located at Line Drive and Sun Valley Blvd., just a few minutes from Downtown Lincoln and may be reached via West "O" Street. The Lincoln Saltdogs pro baseball team will be vying for a playoff spot in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball’s South Division (Lincoln, Kansas City, Sioux City, Sioux Falls, Cleburne and Texas). The South Division and North Division (Chicago, Fargo, Gary, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Winnipeg) play a 100 game schedule, with 50 of those games at home. Cost: Ticket prices are affordable for fans of all ages, with discounts for children and seniors.

The UNL Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film has three production programs: University Theatre, the academic year main stage with faculty directors, faculty/upper-level student designers and student actors; Theatrix, the academic year second stage completely run by students; and the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, a regional professional summer theatre.
