Olive Creek State Recreation Area has 612 acres of land and water available to outdoor recreation enthusiasts. Although small, the 175-acre lake supports a variety of fish species. Other activities include primitive camping and picnicking.

Boating: While all kinds of boats are welcome at Olive Creek State Recreation Area, there is a 5 mph speed limit. One ramp and two docks are available.

Primitive Camping: 50 non-pad sites without electricity are scattered throughout the area. Water and vault restrooms are available to campers.
