Monster Jam® Triple Threat Series,™ the most adrenaline charged motorsports experience for families on the planet, is coming to Pinnacle Bank Arena. Monster Jam events are affordably priced for the whole family with seats starting at $18.00. Monster Jam will take center stage in Pinnacle Bank Arena, sporting meticulously manicured dirt tracks created with the sole purpose of pushing these perfectly engineered, larger-than-life trucks to the limit. PIT PARTY The Pit Party on Saturday, April 14 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. gives fans the opportunity to get up close and personal to the Monster Jam trucks and drivers along with autographs or pictures. These Pit Parties require a separate admission ticket, along with a ticket for the Monster Jam show. FEATURED TRUCKS Featuring the eight most intense athletes of Monster Jam, Lincoln fans will witness a fierce battle for the championship with each competitor using customized high-powered vehicles: Monster Jam Speedsters, Monster Jam ATVs and the famous Monster Jam trucks. These world-class athletes vying to be the Lincoln champion will be announced soon. Monster Jam is one of the only sports where male and female world-class drivers, some generational rivals, are equals competing for the same championship on the same track. Following racing, new in 2018 across all Monster Jam events, fans in every city will have the chance to vote for the truck winner in the donut, wheelie and freestyle competitions by real-time, in-arena fan voting on their smartphones. MONSTER JAM TRUCKS Each Monster Jam truck is approximately 10.5 feet tall, 12 feet wide, 17 feet long and weighs 10,000 pounds. A Monster Jam engine will generate 1,500 horsepower, thanks to a blower that forces air and fuel into the engine. It is powered by methanol fuel, consumed at the rates of three gallons a minute from a specially constructed safety cell. The truck utilizes a four-link racing suspension with four main bars that link the front and rear axles to the frame. It rides on clusters of nitrogen charged shocks that offer 30 inches of travel in the suspension. The BKT tires are 66 inches in diameter and 43 inches wide, inflated to 16-20 psi pressure and (with wheel) weigh 800 pounds each. The driver’s compartment is a steel safety structure, built from tubing and mounted to the truck frame. The truck bodies are custom-built and constructed of fiberglass. Each truck is transported in specially prepared trailers, which can include spare parts and as many as two trucks. ATVS & SPEEDSTERS Some competitions (Triple Threat Central presented by AMSOIL, Triple Threat West presented by AMSOIL and Triple Threat East) will feature special vehicles such as ATVs (all-terrain vehicles) and Speedsters (UTVs). ATVs are off-road machines built for performance. They are race-modified and powered by 450cc four-stroke engines, capable of 55 miles per hour. Speedsters are another form of off-road sporting vehicle manufactured to maneuver over rough terrain and around obstacles. Powered by a 1000cc engine, they can reach 85 mph in open spaces. They are larger in width and length than an ATV and feature an enclosed cab with two seats. Their lower center of gravity allows for optimum agility.
