For centuries, the bison was a source of shelter, clothes, food, and tools for the Native Americans. But as European expansion moved across the country, the bison's numbers dwindled to near extinction. The Nebraska History Museum invites you to discover the history of these majestic creatures with the special exhibit, "BISON," open February 15 through May 15, 2022.
