The Christlieb Collection: 40 Years Later Lower-level gallery October 1, 2021–February 19, 2022 In the fall of 1981, the Christlieb Collection of Western Art opened to the public on the second floor of UNL’s Love Library. 40 years later, this collection is still a favorite of many who visit it in its current home at the Great Plains Art Museum. This exhibition highlights key pieces from the collection and explores the legacy and interpretation of these artworks and the American West.
