Dynasty Combat Sports Presents Spring Brawl MMA Nebraska's largest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) producer, Dynasty Combat Sports (DC), presents its 91st MMA Event in the Annual Spring Brawl cage fighting event at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The card features several "returns" and up and comers and new talent on the Nebraska MMA scene. The main event will feature top unsigned Bantamweight and Lincoln representative Dwight Joseph in what could be his last fight before he gets a call to the big league. Joseph is now training at the famed Team Alpha Male in California, headed by UFC vet Urijah Faber. The Pro Co-Main will bring the return of Columbus' Tony Ortega, now out of 10th Planet Denver, to face off with Hasting's Nate Morrow as they scrap in what could be the fight of the night. On the amateur side, Conner Jorgensen will get a well-earned shot at the Flyweight Title after Jayson Scott has successfully moved into his highly anticipated pro career. Scott will look to avenge a 2017 loss to Scottsbluff's Brandon Trout in a rematch. The surging Troy McCune of Lincoln will battle fan-favorite Tanner Wonch of Aurora for the right to fight for the Featherweight title, Longoria's Andrew Herrera takes on Hastings prodigy Tristen Obermiller, and Ashland's Cole Washburn returns versus Omaha's Justin Middleton. Finally, this card will see the popular Andrew Sommers and Christian Lovan of Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Grand Island's Jesse Lee, Columbus' Brandon Sohl, Doane Wrestler JohnMark Reddick, GMT's Tyler Drugsvold, and more. All brought to you by Dillions Auto and Twin J Transportation. All fight cards subject to change. Important: Plans are subject to change pending COVID-19 developments and the directives from the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Departments. If you do not feel well, if you have a fever or if you have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, do not attend the event. IMPORTANT: Face coverings required.
