Top 10 Activities Especially for Kids at the 151st Super Fair

Lincoln, NE— Plenty of family-friendly fun at the 151st Super Fair, enough for two trips! Here are the top 10 events kids will especially want to see!

1. Princess and Heroes Meet N’ Greet, July 30: NEW this year Moana, Belle and Batman, some of the most beloved princesses and heroes, will be joining us for an afternoon to meet and greet their fans! Great photo opportunity for families and their kiddos.

2. Fairgoer Competitions: Plenty of friendly competition for the kids to participate in this year including a cookie eating contest, Mutton’ Bustin, Kids Big Wheel Race & Pedal Tractor Pull, kids scavenger hunt, cinnamon roll contest and more. NEW this year a backseat driver competition – adult golf cart drivers will be blindfolded, and the kiddos have to tell them how to navigate the course!

3. Puppy Pals Comedic Stunt Dog Show, all 10 days: As seen on America’s Got Talent, Puppy Pals is a family fun action-packed show where adopted and rescued dogs perform spectacular stunts and breathtaking feats. Watch as they lead the puppies and audience through challenging and comical tricks as the pooches show everyone who is really boss!

4. Motor Mania: This year’s action-packed Motor Mania events include Figure 8 Races July 29, Demo Derby July 30, and NEW Monster Trucks August 5 & 6! Produced by Monster Truck Racing League and presented by Morrow Collision Center, catch this action-packed premier show featuring pro TV Monster Trucks performing iconic jumps & stunts.

5. 4-H/FFA Animal Shows & Static Exhibits, July 28-31: Come see all the hard work that youth, ages 8-18, in Lancaster County have put in to their 4-H and FFA animals and exhibits. Watch a variety of shows featuring pigs, goats, bucket calves and so much more.

6. Family Fun Zone, July 29-31: DOUBLED IN SIZE this year to have EVEN MORE educational activities and special contests for kids and families than ever before!

7. Fun at the Farm Kid Zone, July 28–31: Discover and play while learning about various aspects of farming and food production. A variety of common farm animals will also be on display.

8. NoWear BMX Stunt Bike Show, all 10 days: A returning fan-favorite, NoWear BMX professional riders of all ages will perform in a live X-Games style showing off their best thrilling, freestyle BMX stunts.

9. A-Z Pony Rides: Perfect for all of those horse crazy young girls and boys! A-Z makes it top priority to bring gentle ponies so even the youngest child can enjoy a ride! Tickets sold on site.

10. Pied Piper of Percussion, July 28-31: The Pied Piper of Percussion from Miami, Florida, presents “The Rhythm is Going to Get You!” show. Enjoy a total hands-on, family fun percussion party for the "young and young at heart!"

Take note of our new family-friendly hours: 4:30-10pm on weekdays and Noon-10pm on weekends. Carnival is open 5-10pm on weekdays and Noon-10pm on weekends. Online pre-orders of carnival wristbands must be picked up by 8:30pm nightly so fairgoers can get the most out of their all-you-can-ride wristbands.
