Lincoln Craft Beer Week Set to Begin on September 26
Lincoln, Neb. – The celebration of local craft beer, cider and more will introduce a new event this year, as Lincoln Craft Beer Week is set for September 26 through October 2, spotlighting 14 local establishments with fun events scattered over the entire seven days.

Lincoln Craft Beer Week replaces the Lincoln Craft Beer Tour, which was started in 2017 as a way to get people interested in and to enjoy local craft beer. The tour expanded in 2021 to include not only craft beer, but also cider, distillates, wines and locations that serve these locally made beverages.

The Lincoln CVB started the tour in 2017 to introduce the robust and varied options that exist in Lincoln, putting the emphasis on the experience and products our local producers offer. This year, 14 different sites are participating, and each venue will have separate events, including facility tours, giveaways, trivia nights and more to excite craft enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

“We have had a really successful formula over the years with the beer tour, but we wanted to keep the focus on local establishments and let them do events that best highlight their space,” says Jeff Maul, executive director-vice president of the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“The experience around craft beer and the role local breweries and producers play when it comes to tourism continues to increase, having a positive effect on our community. Having great local options for craft beer, cider, wine and more is what visitors want but it’s also what locals want as they love our local establishments and help them grow as they expand and offer new products that bring people into their businesses,” Maul concludes.

Lincoln Craft Beer Week is designed to give participants the avenue to learn about the unique beers being brewed right here in Lincoln as well as the brewing processes and the stories behind each local venue.
