An affiliate of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Vision Maker Media is accepting public media project proposals for its 2021 Public Media Project funding from January 4th to February 12, 2021. Vision Maker Media is seeking project proposals ranging from research and development to production to post-production from $5,000 up to $100,000. The call is open for proposals for programs intended for Public Television broadcast that represent the experiences and perspectives of American Indians and Alaska Natives. Currently, at a time when the media is so significant to who we are as a society, Native voices are an essential part of the American narrative. By empowering Native communities to tell their stories through film, we can cultivate a more diverse, more knowledgeable world. Vision Maker Media is a CPB funded media organization with a mission to empower and engage Native people to share stories.
