Star City Shores is an outdoor, seasonal, public swimming pool facility opening Memorial Day weekend.
Zero-depth entry, accessible facility, two big slides, water play feature, family changing rooms and a concession stand. In 2016 Star City Shores will feature the unveiling of the two new slides and play feature.
Outdoor rinks are prepared by the Parks and Recreation Department throughout the ice skating season.

Sheldon Museum of Art houses a permanent collection of more than 12,000 objects focusing on American art including works by Constantin Brancusi, Alexander Calder, Aaron Douglas, Edward Hopper, Jun Kaneko, Lee Krasner, Georgia O’Keeffe, Isamu Noguchi, and Mark Rothko. The museum, designed by noted architect Phillip Johnson, adjoins a sculpture garden.

I-80 Speedway is home to the NASCAR Whelen All American Series on Friday nights featuring Super Late Models, Grand Nationals, Stock Cars, A Mods, B Mods and Compacts. The tracks feature event is the Silver Dollar Nationals, a national crown-jewel event that annually draws raves from fans and drivers alike.
