"Archie" and his fossil friends are staying up late to have fun with you and your family. All ages will be able to explore science and natural history topics through hands-on activities. Thursday, June 13 6:00-9:00pm Regular Museum Admission Member’s Lounge & Activity 6:00-8:00pm After Party! - 9:00-10:00pm Special telescope activities with the UNL Student Observatory at the Stadium Parking Garage • Identify constellations you can see from your own backyard • Be sure to wear your pajamas! • Special showings of "Earth, Moon, and Sun" and "Big Red Sky Tour" in Mueller Planetarium • Learn about animals that come out to play once the sun goes down • Special party-themed UNL Dairy Store ice cream will be available for purchase • Find special animal-themed books in the Museum’s Read Aloud Lincoln book nook. • Learn about fireflies and the blinking messages they send with UNL Entomology. • Look and listen for nature’s silent hunters owls with Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center. Parking: Visitor parking spots are located to the east of the building along 14th street. Additional metered spots are available at the entrance of the parking lot north of Morrill Hall at 14th & Vine streets. Additional parking is available at the 14th & Avery Parking Garage (fee required).
