If you are interested in learning how you can make a personal impact on protecting the environment, while saving money, we have an event for you. The Nebraska Conservation Education Fund (NLCV’s sister organization) has organized for Scott Benson of Lincoln Electric System (LES) to give a public presentation on the many different programs LES has available for homeowners and nonhomeowners alike to get involved in renewable energy or energy efficiency. At this event, Benson will discuss incentives available for homeowners who want to be more environmentally-friendly with their energy usage, as well as ways that non-homeowners can participate in renewable energy and lower their energy costs.
