The community is invited to join Concerned Nebraskans for Cystic Fibrosis (CNCF) for their 16th annual "65 Roses" Benefit on Saturday Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Pla Mor Ballroom. The annual fundraiser consists of a silent auction, live music, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, door prize drawings, and a cash bar. Tickets for the fundraiser may be purchased in advance of the event online at cncflincoln.org for $15 or at the door the night of the event for $20. Through fundraising, CNCF provides college scholarships to those with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and provides funds for high medical costs due to hospital stays and lung transplants for CF patients in Nebraska. CNCF is a 501(c)3 non-profit located in Lincoln that works to improve the quality of life of Cystic Fibrosis patients and their families, promote public awareness, and support research for CF. Since CNCF is a volunteer organization, there is no paid staff to support, all proceeds go to benefit those affected by Cystic Fibrosis.
