The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra will perform with Brenda Wristen at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets to the “Grieg and More” recital, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens. Wristen, an associate professor of music, will be featured on piano with the symphony. The repertoire will include “L’Arlésienne (Suites 1 and 2)” by Georges Bizet, Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg, and “Danzón No. 2” by Arturo Márquez. The symphony is directed by Tyler White, professor of music. The orchestra includes students from across the university.
