Pre-registration is required to insure adequate space. If necessary, we will schedule another session. Details: Trees have value. They provide shade, habitat, and other environmental benefits. Their worth is both esthetic and monetary. Proper care can increase the health and life of your trees. This workshop will show you how. Pruning methods will be a major focus of the workshop. Dress warmly. Part of the workshop will be outside. Lorri holds certifications from the International Society of Arboriculture, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, and Municipal Forestry Institute. Aldersgate United Methodist Church: This spring, Aldersgate United Methodist Church began a major renovation of its 1.9 acres of green space. As part of Phase I, the church has planted 51 trees, 94 shrubs, and a 1,000 square foot raingarden. This was in addition to 44 mature trees planted many years ago. More enhancements are planned in 2018. The vision is an intensively landscaped park that provides attractive grounds, benefits the environment, serves the neighborhood and provides solace through nature.
