When Is it? Sunday, December 3, 2017 the evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Christmas Concert in the Trinity Lutheran Church Sanctuary. Following the concert, a candlelight dinner of roasted pork tenderloin with potato-apple-onion-hash will be served in the Fellowship Hall. What is it? Ladies have been sponsoring Christmas by Candlelight dinners in churches throughout our synod for over 25 years. Christmas by Candlelight is an opportunity for women of all ages to set aside the hustle and bustle of the holiday preparation to reflect on Jesus and His birth while also sharing beautifully decorated tables, a dessert, special program and… the glow of candle and friends. The special program will be present by the Lincoln Lutheran band and choir small groups. Who can attend? Our event is offered to ladies high-school age and older. You do not need to be a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and School to attend. Please take the opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite ladies who do not have a church home and would be blessed by the Christmas message. Due to assigned seating, tickets are required for the event. Who can host? How does it work? Any lady who is willing and able can serve as a hostess! As a hostess, you set a round table (8 seats, including your seat) and provide a dessert for those at your table. You may do this on your own or share the responsibility with a friend. You may invite ladies to sit at your table, or allow the seats to be filled via the sign-up process. Fancy tablecloths and Christmas dishes are wonderful! Paper products and plastic silverware are fine as well. Please see the Hostess Guidelines for more details. The guidelines are available at the welcome center and in the school office. When Can Tables be Set-Up? Hostesses can set their tables any time after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017. How Much are Tickets? Tickets are $5.00 for each lady that attends. When and Where Can I Get My Tickets? Tickets will be available on November 5, 2017 after services. If you are not able to get your tickets on November 5, please contact Betty Volzke at (402) 450-6869 or Doris Pflughaupt at (402) 467-2211 to get your tickets.
