Considering Matthew Shepard featuring Conspirare and conductor/composer Craig Hella Johnson Sun | Feb 25 | 7:30 PM ~ Lied Center for Performing Arts In October of 1998, Matthew Shepard, a young, gay student at the University of Wyoming, was kidnapped, severely beaten, tied to a fence and left to die in a lonely field. Approaching the 20th anniversary of his untimely and tragic death, composer Craig Hella Johnson leads his celebrated Grammy® award-winning choir, Conspirare, in the Nebraska premiere of Considering Matthew Shepard. Come to experience how a story of hate is transformed into a message of hope. Tickets Available Lied Center Box Office ~ 402-472-4747 or liedcenter.org $28 Adults | $14 Students
