As the oldest public course in Lincoln, Nebraska, Pioneers Golf Course was built in 1930. Originally 27 holes, the layout is spread across a gradual hill the beautiful clubhouse sits atop. Now an 18 hole course, it has become one of the most popular courses in the area.

668 acres of tallgrass prairie, woodlands, wetlands and a stream. Since 1963 the Nature Center has served the Lincoln area as an environmental education center and wildlife sanctuary. Eight miles of hiking trails wind through various habitats and take visitors past non-releasable raptor exhibits, as well as bison, elk, and white-tailed deer herds.

Prairie Bowmen Lincoln is fortunate to have one of the most beautiful and diversified outdoor ranges in the state of Nebraska. Located in southwest Lincoln adjacent to the Wilderness Park area with its NFAA approved ranges and other facilities.

Roper Park-Disc Golf Course

Roper Park offers a 27 hole disc golf course for everyone to enjoy. Players of all abilities are put to the test on each of Roper Park's 27 holes. Shots over water, through trees, and off of steep slopes are just a few of the obstacles that await you here in Lincoln. Long open fairways are a "grip and rip's" dream, while several short holes offer the perfect opportunities for that elusive ace.

This course plays around a 15' drop off creek. The front 18 holes are fairly flat with a few top of hill shots. Holes 20-25 have nice "Top of hill" shots down to the tee. Holes 5,6, and 9 are on some good hills as well.

Snyder Arena - Nebraska Wesleyan University

Snyder Arena has a seating capacity of 2,350 and plays host to the Prairie Wolves basketball and volleyball teams. The gym floor was refinished and painted in 2008 and six new scoreboards were installed in 2010.
